Kajri Babbar is a young Indian filmmaker, theatre artist and gender equality activist. Her short films and documentaries are aimed at initiating debates on some of today’s most pressing social issues and have been nominated at the Student Academy Awards and Cannes Film Festival.

In 2019, the British Council selected Kajri as one of the four Future Leaders of India and she had a chance to attend a fully sponsored and paid Leadership and Development programme at The University of Cambridge and Houses of Parliament.

 

Besides this, Kajri is armed with a postgraduate degree in Film Direction from Arts University Bournemouth, UK, a postgraduate diploma in Social Communication Media and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Mumbai University.
