Ray is a Bombay based director and screenplay writer. He has created music videos for artists and labels like Ritviz, Raghav Meattle, Vayu, Akasa, and Azadi Records, which have garnered millions of views online, and made it to Rolling Stones Best Music Videos of the Year 2018 and 2020, as well as VH1 Top 50 Videos – Global Mid Year Countdown 2019, which featured music videos by Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Wiz Khalifa and Ed Sheeran.

 

He has worked with brands such as Bacardi, Asian Paints, SBI Life, Abbott Pharmaceuticals, Funfoods, Springwel, and others, directing ad films and branded content for web and television. He has also produced a wide variety of branded content including talk shows, travel and lifestyle shows, sketches, and reality prank shows with leading digital creators like Kanan Gill, AIB, My Mate Nate, Nas Daily, Sorabh Pant, Film Companion, Varun Thakur, and DeadAnt. Ray has made short films, which have been in competition and won awards at national festivals such as the IDSFFK , BISFF, IndiEarth Xchange, amongst others.

 

He recently won the IFP Screenplay Writing Challenge 2020.
