He began his journey as a casting associate and soon moved into assisting on ad films and feature projects, gaining hands-on experience across the filmmaking process. These formative years helped shape his cinematic sensibility and sharpen his directorial voice.

Now fully transitioned into directing, Ronjoy specializes in ad films, music videos, style films, and queer/gender-based narratives. His work blends striking aesthetics with emotional depth. A strong believer in the power of performance, Ronjoy is known for drawing out nuanced, authentic acting from his cast — ensuring every frame carries emotional truth.

His music video Toke Chhara has won multiple international awards, including Best Asian Music Video at the Prague Music Video Festival, and was also featured in Homegrown and Voice of Fashion for its bold storytelling and unique visual language.
