Sajid Sanwari began his journey in visual storytelling as an amateur photographer, inspired by the striking imagery of National Geographic. A casual remark from his mother led him to explore cinematography, eventually enrolling at Whistling Woods International. He trained under acclaimed cinematographer K. U. Mohanan and later expanded his skills in underwater cinematography while working with Priya Seth.

 

His approach to cinematography is rooted in naturalism—letting the story guide the camera, not the other way around. Whether working on narrative films or commercial ads, he strive for simplicity, authenticity, and subtlety, believing the best visuals are those that resonate long after the credits roll.
