Kajri Babbar is an Indian filmmaker, theatre artist, and gender equality advocate. Her short films and documentaries, including Khoj, have been recognized at the Student Academy Awards and the Cannes Film Festival. In 2019, she was selected by the British Council as one of the four Future Leaders of India.
Kajri holds a postgraduate degree in Film Direction from Arts University Bournemouth, UK, and has a background in journalism and social communication media. She is currently working on her debut British feature film, Lioness, a historical drama co-produced by the National Film Development Corporation of India and the British Film Institute.
